ABOUT US!

Forte - Toronto Gay Men’s Chorus is one of Canada’s premier male choral ensembles with a membership proudly drawn from Toronto’s diverse LGTBQ+ community. Created by our three founding members in 1997, Forte has evolved through a wide range of performance styles and repertoires, from show tunes and “choir-ogrpahy” to original and classical works. Today, our programming includes an exciting and challenging array of musical styles, presented in our annual Holiday and Pride-affiliated summer shows and our on-going Unzipped cabaret series.

Forte would be nothing without the incredible contributions of our members. Due to the great strengths that the incredible members of this organization bring, we are able to realize our goals of providing exciting opportunities and a sense of belonging, engaging with the community, promoting leadership and organizational experiences, and the creation of powerful music.

OUR MISSION

To bring voices together with a commitment to musical excellence that enriches the lives of our membership and the LGBTQ+ community which we so proudly belong to.
